Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using LinkScope ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

LinkScope is a campaign short link service with analytics. We provide:

• URL shortening for marketing campaigns
• Click analytics including referrers and UTM parameters
• CSV export of analytics data

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

3. Account Registration

To use LinkScope, you must:

• Be at least 16 years old
• Provide a valid email address
• Create a secure password
• Maintain the security of your account credentials

You are responsible for all activity under your account.

4. Subscription Plans

4.1 Free Plan

The Free plan allows account creation but does not permit creating short links. To create links, you must subscribe to the Pro plan.

4.2 Pro Plan

The Pro plan costs $5 per month and includes:

• Up to 100 short links
• Unlimited clicks on your links
• Full analytics and CSV export

5. Payment Terms

5.1 Billing

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Payment is processed securely by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis.

5.2 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support. Upon cancellation:

• You will retain access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period
• No further charges will be made
• Your short links will remain active until the period ends
• After the period ends, you will not be able to create new links (Free plan limits apply)

5.3 Refunds

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us at hello@linkscope.com to request a refund.

5.4 Failed Payments

If a payment fails, we will attempt to notify you. Continued payment failure may result in suspension of Pro features.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use LinkScope to:

• Distribute spam, malware, viruses, or harmful content
• Engage in phishing, scams, or fraudulent activities
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
• Harass, threaten, or abuse others
• Circumvent service limitations or restrictions

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We provide:

• No Service Level Agreement (SLA)
• No uptime guarantees
• Best-effort maintenance and support

We may perform scheduled or emergency maintenance that temporarily interrupts service.

8. Data Ownership and Export

You retain ownership of your data. You may export your analytics data at any time in CSV format. If you delete your account, your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• LinkScope is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months
• We are not responsible for the content of destination URLs or how your links are used by third parties

10. Intellectual Property

LinkScope and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time, with or without notice, for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Abuse of the Service
• Non-payment of fees

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
